Guide to Successful Landing Pages

Landing pages are a really important tool to help customers find your site and to also help your rankings on Google.

Your landing page must include your USP (unique selling point) within the headline, statements, arguments, images and the benefits your company will have on the end consumer.

Your headline is the first thing the customer is going to see so it is vital that this is clear and concise, whilst selling your product in one sentence. IT is the first impression your company will make on the consumer.

A supporting headline can be used to further your argument. Extend the message you are conveying by adding additional persuasive messages that support your main aim. This will further convince the customer that you are the right person for the job.

Have you included any images? These visually represent your offer and it’s use is to give people a better understanding of what it is your company does and how you can help the customer. All visually of course. Don’t make the images too fancy – sometimes simple is better!

Think from the customers perspective, what are you trying to find out? What do you want to achieve from reading this page? Do i want to find a price? Or how the product works? It is your job to sell it to the customer, so do just this and think outside the box.

Ensure your social media signals are visible. It sounds obvious but so many people assume they are there. Social media is forever growing so don’t forget to show your customers that you are up-to-date with technology.

Plan what you want to say and adapt and elaborate this to create your finished product.
